Mangold's VideoMotionTracker is a very easy to use tool that allows you to follow objects within a video by using the computer mouse or a tablet-PC's pen to measure moving distances and to finally receive information about "activity hot spots".

This solution is ideal for the analysis of any video footage that cannot be analyzed automatically e.g. because of bad light conditions, a too blurred image or a too complex image background.

You get a stunningly good looking heat map with just a mouse click, representing the "hot spots" of activities of the object followed. This might be a certain area of a cage or an animal box if you are doing animal behavior research but also a part of a computer screen or a place in a real world situation in case you are using this solution for usability research or studies on ergonomics.
